Hi,
This is Joey. He is a Handsome Blue & Gold Macaw. About 3yrs old, he was rescued from a pawn shop back in Sept. I have been caring for him, training him, and had decided to make him apart of my family.
Unfortunately the one thing that gets him worked up is loud noises and small children running around. Having 2 small children, that he loves, being children it gets him very excited and can lead to an un-safe level of aggression.
You will need to have big bird experience. He is hand trained and likes to talk. He is a very funny bird, full of personality.
It breaks my heart to have to let him go, but I know he will be able to move forward more in his training. He is not a perfect bird, but he can be a great bird in the right home.
